Erangel- The most popular map in all the pubg maps. And First map of the game. This map is 8*8 square kilometers. According to some facts this map exists in Russia. This is a island and it represents the war between Soviet union and civilians. Soviet union army was performing research on civilians and when civilian tried to defend their people soviet union army starts to kill them. But civilians lost the war and left the island. You can see damaged houses and vehicles on this map. And Military base and some underground shelters of soviet union. Some famous places are Pochinki city, School, Mylta, Military base. There are some rivers in between this map. Some places are real but some added to game by developers to make game more interesting.

Minamar- This map having rural areas and plain desert. This map is also 8*8 square kilometers. This is the best action map because of less covers i.e. tree, stones. Most famous places are Pecado, Los leones, San Martin. You can experience rural areas and desert. You do not have so many places for cover in this map. So you can get kill in open area. If you have a sniper rifle and 8x scope then you can kill so many enemies. The story behind this map is about the struggle of civilians in desert after fuel crises. They survive on this desert after fuel crises. For survival they kill everybody in their way.
Sanhok- This is the latest map of the game. This map is shortest map of the game. This map is 4*4 square kilometers. In this map Blue zone is slow. And you have to face more enemies in short area. This map comes with new weapons and 2 New cars. This place is for snakes ( the player who plays in prone) because of bushes and grass. So you have so many places for hide yourself. Boot camp and paradise resort is most popular places on this map.The story of this map is about ancient emperor who killed every girl who is more than 9 years old. They kill the girls by throwing them into Cave and the wandering soul of girls bothers the citizens. So emperor made some dolls to please wandering souls of girls. So you can see some dolls in the game. And emperor use to live in Paradise resort.
